E85 Inc. — the American face for a foreign investor who wants to build an ethanol plant in Cumberland County — is telling us, and other communities around the country, that “modern ethanol plants do not pose an odor problem.” I just returned from a tour of the poster child for modern ethanol plants — in Lexington, Neb. — and I can tell you that is not true.
