The Offended Generation

If you’re not among those who has complained publicly about religious symbols, cultural customs, or common English words over which your feelings have been deeply hurt, then you’re not concentrating.

If you are not disturbed by the actions/inactions of others and how they intrude upon your personal beliefs, religion, diet, or health, then you simply aren’t in tune with your generation.

If you can’t constantly whine about how insensitive people act toward you, how they fail to sympathize with you, how they deny your freedoms and trample your rights, then you’re a pretty sad excuse for an American.

Just how unfair people can be toward fellow citizens is illustrated in this series of memos to employees about a Gala Christmas Party. It’s in a many-times-over forwarded e-mail that you’ve probably already read and found to be offensive.

Company Memo
FROM: Patty Lewis, Human Resources Director
TO: All Employees
DATE: October 1, 2009
RE: Gala Christmas Party
I'm happy to inform you that the company Christmas Party will take place on December 23rd, starting at noon in the private function room at the Grill House. There will be a cash bar and plenty of drinks! We'll have a small band playing traditional carols... feel free to sing along. And don't be surprised if our CEO shows up dressed as Santa Claus! A Christmas tree will be lit at 1:00 PM. Exchanges of gifts among employees can be done at that time; however, no gift should be over $10.00 to make the giving of gifts easy for everyone's pockets. This gathering is only for employees!
Our CEO will make a special announcement at that time!
Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Patty

RE: Gala Holiday Party
In no way was yesterday's memo intended to exclude our Jewish employees.. We recognize that Hanukkah is an important holiday, which often coincides with Christmas, though unfortunately not this year. However, from now on, we're calling it our "Holiday Party." The same policy applies to any other employees who are not Christians and to those still celebrating Reconciliation Day. There will be no Christmas tree and no Christmas carols will be sung. We will have other types of music for your enjoyment.
Happy now?
Happy Holidays to you and your family,
Patty

RE: Holiday Party
Regarding the note I received from a member of Alcoholics Anonymous requesting a non-drinking table, you didn't sign your name. I'm happy to accommodate this request, but if I put a sign on a table that reads, "AA Only", you wouldn't be anonymous anymore. How am I supposed to handle this?
Somebody?
And sorry, but forget about the gift exchange, no gifts are allowed since the union members feel that $10.00 is too much money and the executives believe $10.00 is a little chintzy.
REMEMBER: NO GIFTS EXCHANGE WILL BE ALLOWED.

RE: Generic Holiday Party
What a diverse group we are! I had no idea that December 20th begins the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which forbids eating and drinking during daylight hours. There goes the party! Seriously, we can appreciate how a luncheon at this time of year does not accommodate our Muslim employees' beliefs. Perhaps the Grill House can hold off on serving your meal until the end of the party or else package everything for you to take it home in little foil doggy baggy. Will that work?
Meanwhile, I've arranged for members of Weight Watchers to sit farthest from the dessert buffet, and pregnant women will get the table closest to the restrooms.
Gays are allowed to sit with each other. Lesbians do not have to sit with Gay men, each group will have their own table. Yes, there will be flower arrangement for the Gay men's table.
To the person asking permission to cross dress, the Grill House asks that no cross-dressing be allowed, apparently because of concerns about confusion in the restrooms. Sorry.
We will have booster seats for short people.
Low-fat food will be available for those on a diet.
I am sorry to report that we cannot control the amount of salt used in the food. The Grill House suggests that people with high blood pressure taste a bite first.
There will be fresh "low sugar" fruits as dessert for diabetics, but the restaurant cannot supply "no sugar" desserts. Sorry!
Did I miss anything?!?!?
Patty

TO: All F*%^ing Employees
DATE: October 5, 2009
RE: The F*%^ing Holiday Party
I've had it with you vegetarian pricks!!! We're going to keep this party at the Grill House whether you like it or not, so you can sit quietly at the table furthest from the "grill of death," as you so quaintly put it, and you'll get your f*%^ing salad bar, including organic tomatoes. But you know, tomatoes have feelings, too. They scream when you slice them. I've heard them scream. I'm hearing them scream right NOW!
The rest of you f*%^ing weirdos can kiss my *ss. I hope you all have a rotten holiday!
Drive drunk and die,
The B*tch from H*ll!!!

Company Memo
FROM: Joan Bishop, Acting Human Resources Director
DATE: October 6, 2009
RE: Patty Lewis and Holiday Party
I'm sure I speak for all of us in wishing Patty Lewis a speedy recovery and I'll continue to forward your cards to her.
In the meantime, management has decided to cancel our Holiday Party and give everyone the afternoon of the 23rd off with full pay.
Happy Holidays!
Joan

"Political Correctness" defined

In case this has not yet reached your Internet mailbox, here's a definition to remember. It's said (on an Internet forum) to be the winning entry in a 2007 Texas A & M competition for best definitions of contemporary terms:

"Political Correctness" is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous liberal mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Jews need perfecting, says Ann Coulter

At present, when Christians can scarcely bring themselves to publicly talk about religion for fear of being considered politically incorrect, for fear of offending someone who would disagree, along comes my fav commentator and not only declares her Christianity, but goes back to the basic stuff that sets Christians apart from Jews.

Ann keeps growing on me. She may go over the edge, but she never fails to make me think, and oftentimes to jerk me out of my comfort zone. All Christians should be this brave.

As for her thesis about Jews, she didn't mean it to be offensive, nor should Jews be offended by it.

Editor and Publisher staff wrote a report on her recent interview with Donny Deutsch and I have archived it here, with a link to the E&P web site.

Bigotry lives in Newark

Pity the poor journalists who can't get over their Jesse Jackson mentality, but more particularly newspaper readers in Newark for the Advocate's latest promotion of local bigotry.

On 9/3/07 this newspaper attempted to get it all going between Colored People (as in National Association for the Advancement of Colored People of Licking County) and "whites." The thesis (and headline) of this essay is: "Newark struggles to attract blacks." Here's the link.

If there were ever a blatant promotion of reverse discrimination, this is it. Anybody who has read it should proceed over to the Tea Party's archived column by Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson entitled "Scared White Men" because it will clarify where lie the roots of this Advocate article.

Obama works too hard at passing the "black like us" test

I thought for a while that Obama might be the man. But then he revealed his abortion sympathies and - worse - began sucking for "black (bigot) votes."

John H. Bunzel wrote in the Mercury News that

The Rev. Al Sharpton, who ran for president in 2004 and became "president of black America," has said that Obama doesn't pass Sharpton's "black-like-us" test. "Just because you are our color," he said, "doesn't make you our kind."

Maybe he hasn't yet passed the Sharpton test, but he's obviously trying.

Goodbye, Barack Obama. I never liked either of your names anyway.

Scared white men: Shall we overcome civil rights leaders?

"Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson is the most courageous, outspoken critic of the civil-rights establishment in America today. Often referred to as the “antidote to Jesse Jackson," Rev. Peterson is also the man behind the National Boycott of the NAACP, believing the organization to be nothing more than a tool of the “elite, socialist” elements of the Democratic Party." - quote from the website Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny or BOND.

In a recent column by him, reproduced yesterday on the WCLT Radio-Newark web site, Rev. Peterson explains exactly why Imus got canned, what has been happening to white men for many years, and what is now happening to society because of it.

The American white male has, in effect, been emotionally castrated, which is among reasons why Newark Tea Party was born. Here's how he put it:

"What has happened to white men in this country?

"White men used to be tough. John Wayne, Charlton Heston and Ronald Reagan exemplified a strong male image. But because of the successful attack – by secular progressives like NOW (National Organization of Women who Hate Men), the ACLU, homosexual groups and liberal black leaders – most white males have been emasculated.

"Years of scapegoating and charges of racism have intimidated whites to the point that they no longer speak out on issues concerning race and morality."

The entire column is reproduced here and it's worth your time.

Imus reality check by black commentators

Imus fallout continues because it goes to the core of certain social problems.

Consider the "I'm victimized" position of Obama who, for the first time, has given me reason to think he's truly another dim bulb in the company of many dim-bulb presidential candidates.

His take: "He (Imus) fed into some of the worst stereotypes that my two young daughters are having to deal with today in America. The notions that as young African-American women — who I hope will be athletes — that that somehow makes them less beautiful or less important. It was a degrading comment..." He also called for the resignation of ol' Imus.

Fortunately, there are more intelligent African American leaders than Obama. Among them is Michelle Malkin, a black columnist for the New York Post, who wrote, in part, yesterday:

"The number one rap track is by a new sensation who goes by the name of 'Mims.' The 'song' is 'This Is Why I'm Hot.' It has topped the charts for the last 15 weeks. Here's a taste of the lyrics that young men and women are cranking up in their cars:
------
This is why I'm hot
Catch me on the block
Every other day
Another bitch another drop
16 bars, 24 pop
44 songs, nigga gimme what you got
We into big spinners
See my pimping never dragged
Find me wit' different women that you niggas never had
For those who say they know me know I'm focused on ma cream
Player you come between you'd better focus on the beam
I keep it so mean the way you see me lean
And when I say I'm hot my nigga dis is what I mean
-----
She ends her column with this:

"One dumb radio/television shock jock's insult is a drop in the ocean of barbaric filth and anti-female hatred on the radio.

"Imus gets a two-week suspension. What kind of relief do we get from this deadening, coarsening, dehumanizing barrage from young, black rappers and their music-industry enablers who have helped turn America into Tourette's Nation?"

Now, read the last two paragraphs of this column by Jason Whitlock, also an African American, published yesterday in the Kansas City Star:

"I don’t listen or watch Imus’ show regularly. Has he at any point glorified selling crack cocaine to black women? Has he celebrated black men shooting each other randomly? Has he suggested in any way that it’s cool to be a baby-daddy rather than a husband and a parent? Does he tell his listeners that they’re suckers for pursuing education and that they’re selling out their race if they do?

"When Imus does any of that, call me and I’ll get upset. Until then, he is what he is — a washed-up shock jock who is very easy to ignore when you’re not looking to be made a victim.

"No. We all know where the real battleground is. We know that the gangsta rappers and their followers in the athletic world have far bigger platforms to negatively define us than some old white man with a bad radio show. There’s no money and lots of danger in that battle, so Jesse and Al are going to sit it out."

Jason's column is on the money. I urge you to read it from the beginning.

Imus: No brains and no balls, so who cares?

Some observers may be snickering over the Imus chapter in the story of American political correctness gone beserk. I, however, think it's a serious matter that should be made a subject for textbooks on politically correct freaks who are logic-disabled and also textbooks on the testicle-impaired commentators.

By now everyone knows that Don Imus - the idiot who looks like an old woman in a cowboy hat and who mutters junk ideas at America from behind a radio microphone and to whom nobody with brains ever listens to anyway - has categorized a certain group of "ladies" as "nappy-headed hos." Later, fumbling and falling all over his feeble self in scatter-gun apologies, he used the words "you people." Shocking stuff, that.

Used in combination, the words "you" and "people" are now an inspiration for those who seek with gusto any reason to come up offended by anything and anybody so long as it calls attention to how unfair their lot in life has become. Who knew?

If you haven't read a transcript of the inane charge that "you people" is off-limits, read it in this New York Post report.

This entire war among babies has had the national spotlight through way too many news cycles. So far only one analyst has made any sense in how it might be best resolved.

That analyst is the esteemed radio "shock jock" Howard Stern, the one whose expertise normally does not extend above the belt, which is why he's on satellite radio as we speak. Howard Stern, the one once described as looking like "a Jew in drag with a bad wig," - that Howard Stern.

Howard's quote in the New York Daily news: "He's apologizing like a guy who got his first broadcasting job," said Stern. "He should have said, 'F--k you, it's a joke.'"

At last Stern finally said something I can agree with.

Imus has no balls in addition to having no brains. That doesn't leave much, so who gives a crap what he says anyway?

Enough about well-being of homosexuals; it's time to support masturbators

With all the homosexual love being spotlighted in the homo-oriented mass media, it's no surprise that the local Gannett paper would announce with a straight face on Page One that children at Newark High School have formed what they call a "Gay Straight Alliance."

What was surprising is that this is smiled upon by the school, and that a school principal is the advisor. He was quoted as saying "The Number One goal is a support system for kids."

That doesn't give me any sort of warm feeling for the Newark school system which is a major consumer of my tax money. I'm guessing that other taxpayers - mostly parents - may get sizzling hot over the idea, and not in the queer sense of the word.

We'll see.

In the meantime I hereby call upon Newark Schools to begin another support group, this one for masturbators.

I'm sure that there are many more masturbators at Newark Schools than there are homosexuals, and God knows masturbators need all the support they can get because they're getting none at all.

They too could have their own meetings in school facilities and talk about issues connected with masturbation.

Perhaps this same principal - Jesse Truett - would be available to advise the Masturbators Club because he said he will "support all our students, no matter who they are." He said he hopes his homosexual group of children "will become just another part of the Newark High School's landscape." He justified his commitment to this cause, in part, by saying "it's not unusual, and it's not strange."

Maybe not to him. But it sure as hell is to me and a lot of other taxpayers, and don't get me started on how the parents of these children must feel. But strange or not, I can almost guarantee that masturbation is a lot less unusual and a lot less strange and anyway it's long past time when masturbators came out of the closet. It's long past time when they got their own local headlines and a lot more media attention in general.

Masturbators have had neither national nor local recognition; they've never had tax dollars allocated to them (not even so much as the services of high school principal advisor or the use of school facilities), never had television shows devoted to their preferences, never had their own trips and club activities as is the hope of the children in this Gay Straight Alliance at NHS.

Masturbators, arise! Come, open the closet door and demand equality. Yours may be the last sexual activity yet to win media admiration, public reassurance and government support.

Let's not offend terrorists

It's politically correct thing to do: ignore terrorism; leave it to Hollywood to do the right thing. Read it here.
