Term limits
State legislators haven’t even gotten their seats warm yet when already they’re floating the idea - again - that they shouldn’t be limited to eight years in office. Never mind that 68.4% of voters told them that citizens do not want career politicians in the Statehouse. Now the Cincinnati Enquirer editorializes about the folly of term limits and the local Gannett paper adopts the stance as its own. So is anyone still having trouble seeing the connection between career politicians and media poobahs?
