Carter calls Bush "the worst;" Why just Carter saying it?

When former President Carter ripped President Bush a new one for general stupidity and incompetence, and called him the "worst in history" he was, of course, right on target. (Read the AP report) Someone of national stature finally agrees with middle-class, non-minority, working/voting slugs like me.

But there's a problem with Carter's assessment. It's coming from an observer, not a candidate.

Why isn't there just one single person among that worthless group who are trying to get post position in the next election who is not afraid to likewise criticize Mr. Bush?

Could it be because they've all been duped by him, followed him blindly, too afraid, too dumb to question the man and his common sense and his motives? And because they have done so, cannot now mount an attack on him?

Yes. That might be it.

  1. Well, one candidate comes to mind, Barak Obama. Not my favorite, though, who is Bill Richardson, and I can't recall how he fits the image you give of W groupies.

  3. Wow. Have you been listening to Lou Dobbs too much? What have the hard-working Latinos and Latinas ever done to you? I hope you feel as angry at the American business men who hire them as at the poor schmucks themselves.

  4. Yes, God. I'll confess, I'm a Baptist. Taking care of the poor as opposed to sucking up to those with money is the issue. Of course, the businesses could always pay enough for Americans to do the work.
