Criminal aliens want their rights

This morning I read at the Dispatch web site “Immigration activists start reform push in Ohio.”

Two hours later I receive one of those e-mails, the facts in which are unattributed, but the thrust of which is on the money. It says:

“If you cross the North Korean border illegally you get 12 years hard labor.

“If you cross the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely.

“If you cross the Afghan border illegally you get shot.

“If you cross the Turkey border illegally you spend the rest of your life in prison.

“If you cross the U.S. border illegally you get ...
“... a drivers license
“... a Social Security card
“... welfare
“... food stamps
“... and free health care!”

I have written about giving our millions of criminal aliens their “rights” many times and you can link to all of them here. But if this subject interests you, please at least read Criminal aliens: The losers are Mexico and Mexicans

Questions on gasoline prices for Obama

What determines the price of gasoline is a question that for years I've been asking media representatives, public agencies, and government officials, including the Bush administration. I have yet to receive an answer or a show of interest.

I hope President Obama's policies of government transparency don't stop where the interests of energy profits begin.

If they don't, I will receive answers to the questions I asked of him today:

What and who determines oil prices?

How does lack of anti-trust-law enforcement affect those prices?

Who is in charge of setting prices at the pump?

What influences traders in the futures markets and who is guarding against price manipulation at that level?

Get in line for our tax money, buggy-whip makers

That the Bush/U.S. Congress rape of America is alive and well and evermore destructive is reflected in today's news that our money will be also given to companies deemed by government to be important to making and financing of cars, according to USA Today.

This in addition to billions going to Wall Street traders, banks, and auto manufacturers.

And guess who is next in line? Newspapers! Already a Connecticut lawmaker wants to "save" his local newspaper. This, the most bizarre twist in the most bizarre use of tax money of all time, is reported by Reuters at this link.

If anyone is expecting this federal idiocy to stop soon, it isn't likely. At least not until the last of the businesses have been rewarded by Washington loonies with money from many generations of future taxpayers. The headline for that may read, as was written sarcastically by an Internet wag: "Buggy Whip Industry Demands Bailout - Claims $35B Will Allow It Time To Restructure."

Newark Ohio is well represented in the rape of taxpayers

King Bush's so-called "bailout" is virtually a done deal among Washington's crooks, cronies and liars, including those who represent Newark Ohio.

Your government is in the late stages of stealing $700 billion and giving it to Wall Street. But it couldn't get past the Senate until $1.7 billion of pork was added - including $6 million for manufacturers of kids' wooden arrows, $192 million for rum producers and a bunch of other bribes. You get the idea, but if you want to get really PO'd, read PIGGY POLS IN HOG HEAVEN WITH PORK-PACKED PACT by the NY Post

What so far has been omitted from media reports that I've seen is a curious bit of irony revealed in one of the comments to that article: "KC-Hollywood" wrote:

"You know what is really ironic? The fact that both Obama and McCain have said they will change Washington and stop earmarks and pork barreled spending. Then in stunning, predictable form, they both are VOTING YES for the largest pork barreled, earmarked behemoth of apocalyptic proportions. So much for changing anything. They just proved their word means NOTHING. First chance to prove they are against earmarks and pork spending and they EPIC FAIL THE TEST."

Both Ohio Senators Voinovich and Brown voted for this rape - as might be expected from men of their calibre - as did our U.S. Representative Zack Space, when the House voted earlier. Voter protests may change his mind when they vote again, perhaps today.

EDIT: Zack Space and Pat Tiberi voted for the "bailout" when it passed the House today. Space's "bailout" vote follows closely on his vote supporting oil-company demands for off-shore drilling. As with others we've sent to Washington who started out as Mr. Clean Jeans, Space is starting to smell like one of the good old boys. These are things to remember next time we vote.

Bailout: Bush's newest plan to rape the middle class

The gifting of Wall Street billionaires in Bush's "bailout" plan is his most recent effort to eliminate America's middle class: Take from the middle class and give it to the rich, making an even smaller rift between where "being poor" ends and "being rich" begins.

James K. Galbraith explains the "Bailout We Don't need" in today's Washington Post at this link.

I'm voting against urinary incontinence and vaginal discharge

Against the better judgement of the NRA and a bunch of other conservative groups I believe in, I'm voting for Obama. I think I made that decision long before I knew who Democrats would put up against the Bushies. I think I made that decision just after President Bush was re-elected and began revealing his true nature.

I don't care who it is, I would vote for McCain's opponent because after you cut through the bull, there's just another George Bush with God knows what real agenda, smiling and making empty promises.

What a laugh, this guy. He spent the past two decades contributing as a Senator to the screwing of Americans by Washington. Now he's running on a platform of "change."

I wish Obama came from a different milieu than from Chicago's Democrat-party machine. The damage his liberal ideals could bring to the country really bothers me.

But I am willing to risk that against the chance that he will bring relief to a nation oppressed by Washington's special-interest groups, the ones who have bought our Congress and our Presidency including, in my opinion, John McCain.

I think Obama has the courage and the will to bring back America's middle class and make us feel good about ourselves again. That, alone, is worth the risk on the other issues. And if he doesn't, well, it's still likely to be much better than anymore raping of America by Bush/McCain.

To emphasize how different he wants us to believe his administration would be, McCain imports a moose-hunting, sex pot, soccer mom from Alaska with heavy ties to the oil industry who would receive on-the-job training as a potential President - the one who might assume the world's most difficult and critical responsibilities, complete with the power, for God's sake, to send our children to another war based on a personal whim and ambition, as did Bush.

That's most scary of all. Sarah Palin is 44 and menopause could begin at any time. Any man who's ever been subjected to a woman in menopause ought to be shuddering at the thought of the U.S. President with hot flashes, nausea, headaches, insomnia, urinary incontinence, vaginal discharge, breast changes, thinning of the skin, bone loss, and weight gain, all of which are listed as menopausal symptoms at eMedicineHealth.

If nothing else might have swung me to Obama, that in itself would do the trick.

We're in a mental recession? How about that guy peeing in the pool?

America has for the past four years watched its president pee in the world's pool, particularly that part inhabited by this country's middle- and lower-economic class citizens. Meanwhile, Congress has never been more inept or ineffective against such a White House.

So distraught and angry with the complete breakdown of their government have citizens become that now even "desk rage" is in vogue. Read about it here.

To goose up America's wrath, there's this McCain fat-cat calling us a "nation of whiners" who are in a "mental recession." Former Sen. Phil Gramm, who said that (read it here) is probably a millionaire many times over at the expense of America's working people, something like King Bush's oil buddies.

How much more before a serious revolution?

So the war isn't about oil?

If you think the Bush Government War isn't about oil, you might want to read "Big Oil Firms Ready to Sign Agreements With Iraq" in a report yesterday by the Washington Post.

A lesson from 1973, but Big Oil owns the government

If you think $4 a gallon is anything but a full-court press by Big Oil and Big Government to get America to agree to off-shore drilling, then you're too young or too historically lame to know how the game was played in 1973. That's when Nixon, Agnew, OPEC and Big Oil conspired to force the building of the Alaska Pipeline over objections of environmentalists.

I saw it coming early in May when I wrote here to watch for Bush to seal some Big Oil/Energy deals because it became evident to me that we were into a replay of the 1973 shafting.

May 2 was when Pat Tiberi, (the Republican representing the western part of Licking County in the U.S. House) revealed the Bush Government's plan to "reduce energy costs in the near term" - and put the blame on Democrats. I wrote then that "This is the Bush Empire's first move in a final drive to seal some deals for the oil/energy brethren before he departs. Watch it unfold."

Since then the drumbeat has grown louder. Yesterday, no less than Senator McCain joined up. According to today's Washington Post, he called "for an end to the federal ban on offshore oil drilling, offering an aggressive response to high gasoline prices ..."

Oh, yes, John. Like this isn't an exact replay of Big Oil/Big Government conspiracy of 1973?

First, a little tussle between the Jews and Arabs October 6, which gave OPEC an excuse to impose an oil embargo 11 days later. According to a report by PBS: "Overnight, the price of a barrel of oil rises from $3 to over $5. Gas at the pumps will soon rise from 30 cents per gallon to $1.20, and drivers will wait in long lines to fill up their tanks."

Then on Nov. 16, the report continues: In direct response to the oil crisis, President Nixon signs the Trans Alaska Pipeline Authorization Act into law. Nixon introduces "Project Independence" in a televised speech: "Throughout history, America has made great sacrifices of blood and also treasure to achieve and maintain its independence. In the last third of this century, our independence will depend on maintaining and achieving self-sufficiency in energy."

By December oil was at $11.65 and January 3, 1974 a federal permit was issued that allowed construction to start.

So watch the Bush-McCain Government at work. And if you don't think its owned by Big Oil, you will before this is over.

Bush Government's Bin Laden charade

I came to believe shortly after Bin Laden "got away" and skipped over the border into Pakistan or wherever he went, that he didn't get away at all, but was given an open gate by Bush's war machine.

Why would he do that? Because the Bush Government was in Iraq supposedly to bring justice to those who attacked the World Trade Center and Bin Laden was said to be their chief. That's the line we were fed. So the longer Bin Laden lives the longer the Bush war machine could pretend to be chasing him.

We fought on, taking over Iraq government and oil wells inch by inch - and all in the name of pursuing Bin Laden. The Bush Government had the perfect excuse to keep pounding away.

Lost, he was. That's what Bush Government said. Couldn't find that slippery guy in those mountains. From then until now the only time we gave focus to Bin Laden was when he gave us a new video lecture.

Bush Government stopped talking about it, but now the election looms and voters will have the chance to repay the Bush Government for this war.

So what would be the one thing that Bush Government might try to do to redeem itself about this Iraq gig? Bring Bin Laden home in a bag, then crow about it.

And guess what the headline was today in London Sunday Times? "Get Osama Bin Laden before I leave office, orders George W Bush" Read it here.

Media attacked (again) for role in war reports

Anyone interested in the media role in spreading Bush's lies about our need to go to war should read the commentary in today's on-line edition of Editor & Publisher by Greg Mitchell. His take-off point is the news about the Scott McClellan book.

Big Media and Big Oil - are they one and the same?

The Greatest Story Never Written is what's going on with gasoline prices and what's causing it. That, aside from Big Media's failings on wars and their causes, is their greatest and most costly failing in my memory. Big Media simply will not address the hidden story of manipulation of world energy supplies and the power and riches resulting therefrom.

I have maintained throughout the years that the laws of supply and demand do not freely operate in energy markets (and many others controlled by government). Because of that, as I said here 5/2/08, Bush and the oil companies are eating America alive and mass media can't see that the Energy Empire - using front men like Pat Tiberi - is in a final drive to seal some deals before Bush departs. Read it here.

Breitbart reported 5/17/08that Bush said "Our problem in America gets solved when we aggressively go for domestic exploration. Our problem in America gets solved if we expand our refining capacity, promote nuclear energy and continue our strategy for the advancing of alternative energies as well as conservation."

Was my prediction on target?

Two days later Cal Thomas, who sometimes seems half-bright, wrote an Advocate column that had what he wants us to believe is the answer to our problems. He quoted an expert on why repeal of the $17 billion in tax breaks to oil companies would be wrong and why oil companies should be allowed to defy environmentalist concerns about off-shore drilling. His source? That would be Peter Robertson, vice chairman of Chevron.

Brilliant journalist, that Cal Thomas.

The fact is that Americans and the rest of the world are under attack by oil companies, politicians, speculators, and most of all the President of the United States.

The oil swindle started with President George H. W. Bush and helped propel George W. into office. You can read how this occurred in a report by Samuel A. Stanson, entitled Did former President George H. W. Bush create an oil crisis in order to get his son elected?

Then read another well-researched piece by Emanuel A. Winston at Israelenews.com:"The Oil Swindle Never Stopped"

All Big Media need to do is to pick up on this research. They haven't and likely they won't. They will keep publishing rehashes of oil company propaganda written by hopeless hacks like Cal Thomas.

Is it because Big Media are too lazy and/or too stupid? Or is it rather because - somewhere up the feeding chain - Big Media and Big Oil are one and the same?

Watch for Bush to seal some Big Oil/Energy deals

In all this time since Bush took office and oil companies have been eating America alive, mass media still can't figure out how it's being done or by whom. America's representatives in government - local, state, federal - pretend they can't figure it out and/or refuse to acknowledge the reality of it.

Mass media stupidly continue quoting "energy experts" who stupidly persist in "supply and demand" theories that work only in a free market, to which oil and other forms of energy haven't belonged for decades simply because government interference and refusal to enforce anti-trust laws negates free-market principles.

Any big news machine could get to the bottom of all this in a hurry. But none of them have - not once that I remember - nor do I expect them to.

What's going to happen instead of that is a new push for oil/energy-friendly legislation. Not free market legislation. Not anti-trust law enforcement. No. What we're going to get is more oil/energy-friendly legislation.

And right now - today - you can go to the WCLT website and read "A Local Congressman Talks About the Current Energy Problems" and see how Pat Tiberi (Republican) would give us "relief" - not by enforcement of anti-trust laws but by freeing up energy reserves in Alaska and the Dakotas and goosing up nuclear energy. Exactly the things Big Oil/Energy has been wanting.

This is the Bush Empire's first move in a final drive to seal some deals for the oil/energy brethren before he departs. Watch it unfold.

Dictatorial behavior analyzed

I wrote a letter to President George Bush in which I reminded him that he was only the president of a country, not the world. I told him when Americans at last caught on to his motives for mass bloodshed in a far-off country that history would consign him with other shysters who brought shame to the U.S. Presidency.

That letter, written in November 1990 - though it might have been written yesterday - was brought to memory while reading a report proclaiming "Selfish dictators may owe their behaviour partly to their genes, according to a study that claims to have found a genetic link to ruthlessness.".

That President Bush Sr. and President Bush Jr. weren't mentioned in this report might have been an oversight - or, more likely, a challenge researchers weren't bold enough to meet.

War death count

Every morning I have the self-imposed unpleasant duty of checking the number of war casualties and updating the little box at right entitled "They died for you and me."

I hope every visitor checks it religiously and just pauses a moment to reflect on what it means, and I hope they occasionally visit the two links in that box - "see the faces ..." and "the voice of ..." because those visits will intensify your realization of what's happening with Bush's warS.

It isn't just Iraq; it's also Afghanistan. They are virtually the same, yet national media today are reporting deaths over there as having surpassed 4,000 when in fact the total is much higher.

Thank you Zack Space for goosing Congress on criminal aliens

The incredible travesty against Americans on illegal immigration, wrought by President Bush and his mega-billion buddies, is being met head-on by at least one congressman. That is our own Zack Space (D-18).

Yesterday (3/15/08) Zack sent out the word to his peers that it's time to get off the pot and bring an end to this crisis.

I have for many months been writing about the screwing Bush and the rest of Washington is giving America by letting the invasion by criminal aliens continue. To review:
Criminal aliens: The losers are Mexico and Mexicans
Comment on immigration should be required reading
Zack Space report card so far: Big Attaboy
NO DRUG SMUGGLER LEFT BEHIND! - by Ann Coulter
What's wrong, Bunky?
Zack sent out a news release yesterday that explains the legislation that has been road blocked by a do-less, careless, and unresponsive (except to mega-billionaires) U.S. Congress. Here's what he said:

WASHINGTON, DC – Tired of waiting on the House leadership to address America’s illegal immigration crisis, Congressman Zack Space (OH-18) today called upon them to advance a bill that would help combat the nation’s illegal immigration crisis. Space today joined a number of his colleagues in a letter demanding that Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer bring up pending legislation quickly that strengthens border security, increases interior enforcement, and cracks down on employers who hire illegal immigrants.

This legislation, the bipartisan Secure America Through Verification and Enforcement (SAVE) Act of 2007 (H.R. 4088), has been stalled since last year.

In the letter, Space and his colleagues pointed out that, “Illegal immigration and border security are high priorities for many Members and our constituents, and we fear that these issues have not been given the proper and necessary consideration in the House of Representatives.”

“My constituents are crying out for action on the illegal immigration issue,” Space said. “There is no doubt that the illegal immigration problem is placing an undue strain on our public resources and our job market.”

“When I traveled to the Mexican border last year, I saw firsthand how easy it is for people to sneak across, and that is completely unacceptable. We need swift and dramatic action to protect both our national security and our job security. I find it difficult to understand the delay,” Space continued.

Congressman Space has represented Ohio's 18th Congressional District since 2007. He is working to restore integrity to the office, expand Ohio's economy, and support renewable energy.

USDA: Symbolic badge of the Bush government

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is among federal agencies whose purpose is protecting business interests because it's a lapdog of President Bush.

I explained here 6/1/07 how USDA has refused to implement a Congress-passed mandatory country-of-origin labeling law, though consumers are being sold dried apples preserved with a cancer-causing chemical, frozen catfish laden with banned antibiotics, scallops and sardines coated with putrefying bacteria, and mushrooms laced with illegal pesticides.

Now, courtesy of your USDA, consumers are eating meat from sick cows that are likely to contain harmful bacteria and/or transmittable disease. Moreover, USDA refuses to pinpoint exactly where this meat was shipped. Consumers Union says USDA knows but it won't tell.

Profit for big business is the motive, and the Bush Administration - likely the most arrogant and defiant in the history of this nation - is the prime mover.

This is an outrage, but few are outraged because this is just one more failure of a government known throughout the world for its consistently insensitive failing of U.S. citizens.

Consumers Union is complaining to USDA and if you want to help, at least in the matter of sick and secret beef, you can get started at this web site.
