The bad news about Strickland's school tax plan is that it offers absolutely no relief for property owners, as I reported a few days ago.
The other bad news as reported by the Columbus Dispatch this morning is that it lowers taxes on businesses and industry by 3.1% for many years.
Meaning home owners will have to pay even more to make up the difference.
And, of course, proposing a business tax reduction pits the little homeowner against the high rollers who own our state legislators.
Now it becomes evident to the little guy what Governor Stickland meant when he said he would "fix" school funding.
