Advocate reaches old milestone

The Advocate reached a really old milestone today when it reported about the votes of Ohio's two senators. This appeared on its web site for a while, and likely is included in today's print edition.

What a refreshing treat to at last learn something from the local newspaper about what our representatives in Washington are doing for us and to us.

This ground-breaker was occasioned by the vote yesterday on Crazy George's last-ditch effort to legitimize the 10-20 million criminal immigrants now visiting us from Mexico. Both Ohio senators voted, for once, in favor of justice and common sense by siding with the majority to kill the immigration bill.

And the Advocate reported this!

Not that it will ever happen again, but think of what changes might occur in the way local, state, and federal politicians vote if their votes were publicized, as they once were, in the local newspaper.

By the way, nobody has zeroed in on what problems in Mexico are causing all these immigrants as has Michael Reagan, whose column was printed in The Advocate a few days ago. You can read it from Reagan's web site here.
